Cars sold in Pakistan in July 2011

According to Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA)
Cars sold  17,563 units in July 2011 against 10,942 units in the same period of 2010, increase of 61%. 
Volumetric sales improved by 134 per cent compared to 7,517 units sold in June 2011.
Prices were decreased by 2-3 percent due to reduction of sales tax by 1% and other measures announced in Federal Budget 2011-12 .
Company wise breakup :
 PSMC led the increase with 116 % rise to 11,997 units compared to mere 4,503 seen in same period last year. Sales for INDU declined by 9 % to 4,551 units compared to 4,999 units in July 2010.
